The Board of Directors of the Frate Sole Foundation, felt the opinion of the Scientific Committee, confer to the architect Richard Meier the International Award for Sacred Architecture in its third edition - 4 October 2004, for the realization of the church dedicated to God Merciful Father in Tor Tre Teste in Rome.

In it we recognize expressive quality of mystical values, harmony and beauty of the shapes.

Originalities and creative force in the architectonic conception confer to the church an high atmosphere of spirituality.

With this acknowledgment we want award the brave and passionate innovative search that has attained results of great technical and aesthetic value.
