The Fondazione Frate Sole Foundation, with the desire to promote and valorize the contributions of young graduates, instituted the European Prize for Sacred Architecture in 2013, addressing a project for a church of Christian worship, the subject of a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD thesis.
The purpose of the competition is to promote, during university education, an interest and research in the field of architecture for sites of worship, so as to implement the artistic and mystic qualities that aim at making a sacred place a site for spiritual exaltation, responding to the acquired communitarian conception of liturgical action.
Online the rules of the competition for the fifth edition of the European Prize for Sacred Architecture - bachelor’s, master’s, and phd thesis.
