At winner<\/strong> of the 2021 Prize, Francesco Menegato<\/strong>goes, in addition to the\u00a0cash prize of 1,000 euro<\/strong>, one\u00a0scholarship<\/strong>\u00a0used for one\u00a0internship at the studio of Axel Fr\u00fchauf, Meck Architekten<\/strong>based in Munich.<\/p>

Meck Architekten won the International Prize for Sacred Architecture for churches with the building dedicated to the Blessed Rupert Mayer in the town of Poing (Munich, Germany).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The winning project<\/strong> of the 9th edition of the European Prize for Sacred Architecture promotes an enrichment action by proposing basis of an ideas competition<\/strong> which involved two classes of the Liceo Artistico 'A. Volta' in Pavia<\/strong>.<\/p>

La training<\/strong> and the dialogue<\/strong> between academics<\/strong> e high schoolers<\/strong> are the themes of the next AWARD DAY<\/strong> of IX edition of the European Prize for Sacred Architecture 2021<\/strong>.<\/p>

This ideas competition<\/strong>entitled Design in dialogue with the sacred<\/em><\/strong> is developed in accordance with theIstituto di Istruzione Superiore Volta di Pavia<\/strong> - with Headmistress Paola Bellati and Prof. Silvana Colombi, and sees involved<\/strong> the Brother Sun Foundation<\/strong> - with President arch. Luigi Leoni and the Awards Coordinator arch. Andrea Vaccari, theANCE Pavia<\/strong> - with President ing. arch. Alberto Righini, Director Viviana Montagna, and the Presidents of the Young Building Contractors Group of the Province of Pavia, ing. Alessandro Ottone and geom. Michele Boselli, the Faculty of Engineering, University of Pavia<\/strong> - with Prof. Roberto De Lotto.<\/p>

L'intent<\/strong> of this competition is the will to uniting two realities<\/strong> different allowing the Volta High School students to collaborate, study and approach a type of art and working method that complements the high school curriculum, projecting them towards the university world. In this regard, it becomes fundamental the meeting<\/strong> with the award-winning architects, creating an important cultural, educational and personal moment for the students.<\/p>
