On the anniversary of the birth of Father Costantino Ruggeri, \u201cSguardi Critici\u201d begins, a new exhibition dedicated to the testimonies of artists, critics, writers and scholars who have recounted his work.<\/b><\/p>\n

The October 16, 1925<\/b> Father Costantino Ruggeri was born in Adro, in the province of Brescia. Today, October 16, 2026, the celebration journey dedicated to him concludes. Centenary of his birth<\/b>An opportunity to remember his figure and to deepen his artistic and spiritual research.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of this important anniversary, it begins \u201cCritical Eyes\u201d<\/b>, a new exhibition that intends to continue Father Costantino\u2019s story through the words of those who, over the years, have known him, accompanied him and interpreted his work.<\/p>\n

Artists, art critics, writers and scholars have dedicated reflections and testimonies to his work that not only restore the value of his research but also his personality. the meetings, relationships and the cultural context<\/b> in which it developed.<\/p>\n

\u201cSguardi Critici\u201d stems from the desire to recover and share these voices<\/b>By presenting the writings in their historical context and accompanying them with images of the works and references to the original sources. A journey accessible to all, to learn about Father Costantino through the eyes of those who met him and recognized his originality.<\/p>\n

The exhibition opens with Mario Sironi<\/b>, a protagonist of Italian art of the twentieth century, who in 1951 presented the first personal exhibition of the young Franciscan at the San Fedele Gallery in Milan.<\/p>\n

\u00abWelcome, dear Father Costantino, to the world of art\u00bb.<\/b><\/p>\n

With these words Sironi welcomed Father Costantino into the world of art, encouraging him to continue on his path.<\/p>\n
