The International Prize for Sacred Architecture has been active since 30 years and addresses designers who have realised a church in thelast decade within the framework of Christian denominations. It is a four-yearly competition that photographs the state of the art of Christian religious architecture on an international level.

The winner receives the 'Ciel d'Oro', a sculpture designed by Fr. Costantino Ruggeri, and a cash reward. L'amount total of the International Prize for Sacred Architecture 2024 is equal to 30.000,00 €.

I projects will be part of the archive of the Foundation Frate Sole, and will allow the realisation of a catalogue and one exhibition of VIII edition of the Prize.

The 'Frate Sole' International Prize for Sacred Architecture is awarded every four years in October, close to the feast of St. Francis of Assisi.
