Costantino Ruggeri' Prize
degree thesis on the design of a new sacred architecture
The Prize for Dissertations in Sacred Architecture "Costantino Ruggeri concerns a scholarship in the amount of EUR 4,500 which will be assigned to a master's thesis on the subject of designing a new church. The scholarship will cover the costs for an internship at an international architectural firm.

The Award aims to stimulate young people's interest and research in the field of cult architecture from the training period onwardsto develop the sacred space as a place of spiritual exaltation, in harmony with the acquired communitarian conception of liturgical action.
The Prize is aimed at graduates in Architecture or Engineering at International Faculties who obtained their master's degree, individually or as a group, between 1 January 2020 and 15 April 2023.
The documentation must be sent by 15 May 2023.
The documentation submitted by the candidates (then kept in the Foundation's archives) will be assessed by a Selection Committeeformed by the members of the Scientific Committee of the Frate Sole Foundation, Francesco Dal Co, Giorgio Della Longa, Esteban Fernandez Cobian, don Luca Franceschini, Luigi Leoni, Caterina Parrello, Walter Zahnerby the President of the Order of Architects, P.P.C. of the Province of Pavia Gianluca Perinotto and the President of ANCE Pavia, Alberto Righini.
By 15 July 2021 the Frate Sole Foundation will publish on its website www.fondazionefratesole.org the results of the competition.
The Costantino Ruggeri' Award fits in with the European Prize for Sacred Architecture (running from 2005 to 2021) aimed at students from European universities who were developing a project for a new church as part of their Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate theses.
